Canina® BIO-COCONUT OIL contains plenty of medium-chain fatty acids, such as lauric acid, caprylic acid and capric acid, which are converted directly into energy and do not form fat deposit and positively affecting the metabolism. It is also recommended as a support for worm prophylaxis and worm infestation.
Many pet owners also apply the coconut oil externally. The lauric acid in coconut oil is said to be able to keep unpleasant vermin away from the animal. The contained medium-chain fatty acids have a nourishing effect on the skin and coat and moisturize. The coat is silky shiny and is easy to groom.
